The facilitation team is funded by Ministry of Community And Social Servicesto provide supports to children with physical
and developmental disabilities, and adults with developmental disabilities.

Facilitators work in partnership with families exploring opportunities
to increase meaningful community participation,
develop social networks and deepen personal relationships for their son or daughter.
Respite can be an excellent tool for families to accomplish the above stated goals. There is a wide range of respite
choices available from host families to self directed flexible funding. Facilitators work with families in determining
which respite options best suit their needs.
The facilitator team sponsors workshops which focus on valued social roles for people and we promote and encourage the
participation of families at these events.

Unfortunately, our program is currently operating at capacity, but we can connect with
new interested families through our “Information Network”. The Information Network will keep new families informed of
relevant workshops and events, and offer them the opportunity to meet with people who share their aspirations or concerns.
